Elise Blundell from Community Acupuncture Oamaru is offering a FREE Pop-Up Talk, in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week starting Monday October 8th.
We're delighted to have been asked to host her at The Business Hive. The topic for Monday will be "A Fresh Perspective on Teen Mental Health" - and it's ideally pitched for both parents and teens (along with anyone else with an interest in Mental Health).
The talk will include some great information to help manage our mood, particularly depression and anxiety.
Principles in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture do offer a fresh perspective in the discussion of mental health. In this talk, we will discuss how Chinese Medicine evaluates mind and emotions by looking at the physical state of the body.
The mind and body are holistically intertwined - can we help the mind through the body? And assuming we can - did you know there three reasons why adolescents can particularly benefit from acupuncture?
I know, we here at The Business Hive, want to find out more. We think Elise's insights are going to be very interesting indeed - a truly fresh perspective by own very own Community Acupuncturist. Come along and join in.
All welcome. To register your interest - just click on get tickets above and you'll go to the Facebook Event page where you can click interested or going (so we have an idea of numbers). This is a FREE event on Monday 8th October starting 5.15pm.
