Get the Lowdown on Solar - Public Session

Understanding Solar (for Home & Property Owners)

Is solar a good investment in your home or property?

If you own property, then chances are you've thought about solar power at some point.  You'll have heard some stories about expensive investments that haven't paid off... and you'll have heard about how some solar systems have repaid the initial investment in just a few years.

No question, future savings is the core of every solar installer's pitch. But what can you believe? How can you understand the energy savings a solar system will yield, so you can feel confident in the potential investment?

We're bringing in the experts so you can find out!

This talk is designed for home / property owners and includes a Q&A session where you can get the answers you need.

We'll be discussing the two main types of solar energy technologies;
  • solar power (photovoltaic or PV) systems, and
  • solar hot water systems
You’ll get an oversight on the sorts of conditions that can make solar power and solar hot water more (or less) worthwhile and understand what the technology can and can’t do - now and down the track.

Our Speaker is Master Environmental Solar Engineer, Eric Jansseune

Eric Jansseune – Master Environmental Solar Engineer of EWA-TEC Limited, supported by Wimal (Wim) Wickramasuriya of Zeal Guard Limited.
